Adhesive horizontal markers: a valid alternative

• Blue - signals the obligation, for example, to use protective equipment.
• Green - Indicates safety equipment such as emergency exits.
• Dashed - indicates all areas to be left blank.

Types of horizontal adhesive marks

In terms of materials, the most used today are:

• adhesive vinyl, suitable for permanent and long-lasting marking;
• polyester, very resistant to abrasion, detergents and chemical products;
• pvc, ideal for stress in industrial and warehouse environments.

Furthermore, there are fluorescent and photoluminescent stickers that ensure visibility even at night; reflective, which emits a back light when illuminated; or the classic striped ones, to demarcate security perimeters.

Although the adhesive traffic markings have performed their function discreetly so far, the problem still remains that they deteriorate over time and, even if minimal, still create a thickness on the pavement.
